It's definitely becoming spring.  New growth is showing everywhere.

Critters are showing interest in one another.  On the shore, two buffleheads engaged in a bit of romance:

Along the river, the eagles have nested in both nests I've spotted, and I think there may be a third back further from the bank.

For sure, these two are nesting.

They were quite noisy, with territorial shrieks.

There are an increasing number of fishing boats--both smaller herring flippers and trawlers out in the straits.

As the weather has warmed, the snowmelt has filled the river again, and it's looking quite muddy.

The weather is forecast to be dry for the next few days.  I'm looking forward to watching the seasonal change.
